The Moulin Rouge (Red Mill) is a tradicional cabaret, built in 1889. It is located at the bottom of Montmartre, at the red-light disctrict of Pigalle, in Paris. Over the past hundred years, it has remained a popular tourist destination and it is still a symbol for the night life in Paris. Its style has been imitated by many others cabarets all over the world.
How to get there
By tube: take the Line 2 to Blanche station. Moulin Rouge is just in front of the station. You can also take Line 12 to Pigalle station and walk 10 minutes to the cabaret.
