Athletic de Bilbao

Athletic Club is a football club from Bilbao in Biscay (in Basque). Athletic are historically one of the most successful clubs in Spain. They have won La Liga on eight occasions and the Copa del Rey twenty-four times.

Real Sporting de Gijón

Sporting de Gijon is a historial and century Spanish club in the city of Gijon (Asturias). It was founded in 1905 and their colours are red and white. They play at the Molinon stadium in Gijon.

Granada CF

Its many nicknames range from the Grana, the 5001, the Filipinos or the Mechanical Alhambra.

Granada FC was founded in 1931 as the Recreational Granada Club. They play in the new stadium of the Carmenes in the beautiful Andalusian city, and celebrated their 2011 rise to first division with a great parade and party that gathered more than 50,000 people around the fountain of las Batallas.

The great Diego Maradona, as well as his brother Lalo, played with the Granada FC in 1987, obtaining a 3-2 victory against Sweden's Malmo. The Granada has been a semifinalist for the Copa del Rey multiple times, and was a runner-up against the Barcelona FC in the 1958-59 league.

Rayo Vallecano

With a history dating back to 1924, the Rayo Vallecano was first known as the Sports Association Rayo (which means Bolt in Spanish). In 1947 and in honour of Vallecas, a neighborhood southeast of the Spanish capital, the team added the name of Vallecano.

Moving from third to second division, it reached first division of Spain's La Liga in the 1976/77 season and earned the press nickname The Giant Killer. In the following seasons, the team continued to fall and rise in the division, with 2001-2002 having been its best season in history.

Two midfielders of the Rayo Vallecano have been part of the Spanish National team: Antonio Núñez and Luis Guzmán Cembranos. Real Betis Balompié is a Spanish football club in Seville founded in 1907. The team currently plays in La Liga. Its home stadium is the 56.432-seat Estadio Benito Villamarín de Lopera and its home colours are green and white.

Real Sociedad is a San Sebastian-based football team. They hold the honour of being one of the only nine teams who have never dipped below 2nd division in the Spanish competition. Levante Unión Deportiva, also known as Llevant Unió Esportiva, is a Spanish football club based in Valencia. Their Stadium is called Ciudad de Valencia and it seats 25,354 spectators.

Club Atlético Osasuna, usually known as Osasuna, is a Spanish Primera División football club based in Pamplona in Navarra, founded in 1920. He plays in Reino de Navarra Stadium, known as “El Sadar”. Osasuna is Basque for "health".

Real Zaragoza

Real Zaragoza is a Spanish football team from Zaragoza in Aragón. Founded on March 18, 1932, it currently plays in the Primera División. They play in white with blue shorts. The home stadium is the La Romareda that seats 34,596 spectators.

Málaga CF

El Málaga Club de Fúbtol is a Spanish football club based in Malaga, Andalusia. La Rosaleda is their current home with a capacity of more than 30,000 spectators.
