Stompin New York is a musical phenomenon that has brought more excitement in recent times into the cultural life of the city. It is an innovative proposal that combines music, dance and performance. The great novelty is the peculiarity of the instruments. They are very diverse and include boxes of matches, brooms, garbage cans or basketball balls. The rhythms achieved through these objects are even more attractive because they are put together with perfectly measured choreographies that create a sound and visual harmony never seen before. The concept of Stomp was created in 1991 by Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas in Brighton. Since its creation the instruments and choreography have changed resulting in amazing shows which always create great expectation among the audience.
