Udinese Calcio

The Italian football club Udinese Calcio comes from the city of Udine, 20 km south from the border with Slovenia. Founded in 1896 as a part of the Udinese Association of Gimnastics and Fencing, the team plays in Serie A and in its ranks it has had two world champion players with the Italian National team: Franco Causio (1982) and Vicenzo Laquinta (2006).

They won one Anglo Italian Cup in 1978, one Mitropa Cup in 1980 and one Intertoto Cup in 2000. They play at the Friuli Stadium in Udine inaugurated in 1976.

It is the first team in Italy to found an association called Udinese per la Vita (Udinese for Life) to help the weak and the needy, especially children. Buy your tickets now and see them in action!
